On December 9th, the delegation from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, Thailand, visited TTK University of Applied Sciences. The university, which is situated in Bangkok, has 12 000 students, 2000 if them in the Faculty of Engineering. In 2015, TTK UAS and RMUTP started cooperation in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme International Credit Mobility, in the field of textile engineering. This semester, the first exchange student from Thailand is studying in TTK UAS, the teacher mobility has also started, and the first Estonian students go to study in Thailand in 2017.
In the meeting, TTK UAS rector Enno Lend and the president of RMUTP, Assoc. Prof. Supatra Kosaiyakanon signed a new memorandum of understanding. It was also discussed to develop the collaboration further and include the fields of mechanical engineering and logistics.
